About the role
Wellspring Nurse Source is seeking a travel Interventional Radiology Technologist for a position in Charleston, South Carolina.
Responsibilities
- Assist with diagnostic and therapeutic procedures under the supervision of an interventional radiologist.
- Prepare and monitor patients for procedures, including positioning and administering contrast media.
- Operate imaging equipment to capture images during procedures.
- Document patient data accurately and maintain medical records.
- Ensure sterile technique and follow infection control protocols.
- Communicate effectively with patients and other healthcare professionals.
Requirements
- Current certification as an Interventional Radiology Technologist.
- Experience in a clinical setting preferred.
- Knowledge of interventional radiology techniques and procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Completion of an accredited radiologic technology program.
- Current state licensure as an Interventional Radiology Technologist.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

The pay package is based on 10 hour shifts and 40.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation).
