About the role
The position is for a travel Interventional Radiology Technologist in Oak Lawn, Illinois.
Responsibilities
- Assist with diagnostic and therapeutic procedures under the supervision of a physician.
- Prepare patients for procedures, including positioning and applying sterile drapes.
- Operate equipment such as ultrasound machines, angiography units, and other imaging devices.
- Monitor patient vital signs during procedures and report any changes to the physician.
- Collaborate with interventional radiologists and other healthcare providers to ensure successful outcomes.
Requirements
- Current certification as a Registered Radiologic Technologist (RRT).
- At least 1 year of experience in an interventional radiology setting.
- Valid Illinois license.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Completion of an accredited radiologic technology program.
- Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology relevant to interventional radiology.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.

- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.

Schedule
