About the role

The IR Technologist will assist in a variety of interventional procedures by preparing patients, operating imaging equipment, and ensuring accurate diagnostic images are obtained. Under the direction of the supervising physician and department leadership, the IR Technologist will maintain a safe, sterile, and well-organized procedure room while following facility protocols.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for interventional radiology procedures
• Operate imaging equipment to obtain diagnostic images
• Maintain a safe, sterile, and organized procedure room
• Follow facility protocols and assist the supervising physician

Requirements

• ARRT certification; IR certification preferred
• Strong interpersonal skills, including patience, empathy, and professionalism
• Clear and effective communication with patients and clinical team members
• Quick critical-thinking and problem-solving skills in high-pressure situations
• Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and assist in patient positioning

Schedule

• Duration: 13 weeks
• Start Date: 09/21/2026
• 40 hours per week
• Shift: 10 hours, days (4x10)
