About the role
Malone Healthcare - Nursing is seeking a travel Interventional Radiology Technologist for a position in Alexandria, Virginia.
Responsibilities
- Assist with diagnostic and therapeutic procedures under the supervision of an interventional radiologist.
- Prepare patients for procedures, including positioning and monitoring vital signs.
- Operate equipment and perform technical aspects of procedures as directed.
- Document procedures accurately and maintain patient records.
- Ensure sterile technique and infection control protocols are followed.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Current certification as an Interventional Radiology Technologist from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
- At least 1 year of relevant experience in a medical imaging or related field.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.

Pay
$18.00 - $20.00 per hour based on experience and qualifications.
Schedule
10 hours per day, flexible shifts.
