About the role
The role of an Interventional Radiology Technologist at ALOIS Healthcare involves assisting physicians with minimally invasive procedures that guide instruments through a patient's blood vessels and organs. This includes procedures such as angioplasty and biopsies.
Responsibilities
- Assist physicians during minimally invasive procedures
- Prepare and position patients for imaging and diagnostic procedures
- Operate equipment to capture images and monitor patient responses
- Document patient information accurately and securely
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field
- Current state license as a Radiologic Technologist
- Experience in interventional radiology or related field preferred
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Physical stamina and ability to lift and move patients
Qualifications
- Current CPR certification
- Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy
- Basic computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office
Skills
