Travel Interventional Radiology Technologist - $2,807 per week
About the role
American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist with 3-4 years of experience for a 13-week travel assignment in a hospital-based IR unit.
Responsibilities
- Work in a hospital-based Interventional Radiology unit
- Perform 4x10 hour day shifts, Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
- Attend 10 call shifts per month, including at least one weekend of call per month covering Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
- Enjoy one long weekend off per month without needing to submit a time-off request
Requirements
- 3-4 years of Interventional Radiology experience required
- Required certifications: ARRT (R) and BLS (AHA)
- PREFERRED certifications: ARRT (VI) and ACLS (AHA)
- License required if applicable
- Must live 65+ miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
Qualifications
First-time travelers will not be considered for this position. RTs self-schedule their call shifts, including weekend call, after the primary monthly schedule is set. In the event of a facility-declared emergency, staff may be assigned to an emergency response team and expected to remain on-site or serve as part of a relief team until the event passes. Any requested time off should be disclosed and discussed during the interview process.
