About the role

TRS Healthcare is seeking a travel Interventional Radiology Technologist for a position in York, Maine.

Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures under the supervision of an interventional radiologist
  • Assist with fluoroscopy and imaging techniques
  • Prepare patients for procedures and assist during the procedure
  • Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the procedure
  • Document procedures accurately and maintain medical records

Requirements

  • Current state license as an Interventional Radiology Technologist
  • Experience in interventional radiology or related field
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field
  • Completion of an accredited interventional radiology technology program
  • Current certification in interventional radiology technology

Skills

  • Proficiency in operating interventional radiology equipment
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Good interpersonal and customer service skills

Pay

The pay package is based on 10 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation).
