About the role

Host Healthcare is seeking a travel Interventional Radiology Technologist for a 13-week assignment starting on July 25, 2026, in Birmingham, Alabama.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures under the supervision of an interventional radiologist.
• Assist in the preparation of patients for procedures, including positioning and immobilization.
• Operate equipment and monitor patient responses during procedures.
• Document procedures accurately and maintain patient records.
• Ensure sterile technique and infection control protocols are followed.

Requirements

• Current license to practice as an Interventional Radiology Technologist in the state of Alabama.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in interventional radiology technology.
• Knowledge of imaging modalities and their applications in interventional procedures.
• Proficiency in operating interventional radiology equipment.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field.
• Current certification in BLS for Healthcare Providers.

Pay

The pay package is based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation), with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.

Schedule

Shifts will be 12 hours per day, 7 days a week.
