About the role
TRS Healthcare is seeking a travel Interventional Radiology Technologist for a position in Jackson, Mississippi.
Responsibilities
- Assist with diagnostic and therapeutic procedures under the supervision of an interventional radiologist.
- Prepare patients for procedures, including positioning and applying contrast media.
- Operate equipment and monitor patient responses during procedures.
- Document procedures accurately and maintain patient records.
Requirements
- Current certification as an Interventional Radiology Technologist.
- Experience in a clinical setting preferred.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Completion of an accredited radiologic technology program.
- Passing scores on relevant certification exams.
Skills
- Proficiency with interventional radiology equipment.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
