About the role

Host Healthcare is seeking a travel Interventional Radiology Technologist for a 13-week assignment starting on July 28, 2026, in Waterbury, Connecticut.

Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic imaging procedures under the supervision of an interventional radiologist.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of interventional procedures using fluoroscopy and other imaging modalities.
  • Prepare patients for procedures, including positioning and administering contrast agents.
  • Operate equipment such as ultrasound, CT, and MRI machines to assist in diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
  • Document patient information accurately and maintain records as required.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and hospital policies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field.
  • Current state license as an Interventional Radiology Technologist.
  • Experience in interventional radiology procedures.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

  • Must be eligible for licensure in the state of Connecticut.
  • Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.
  • Must be willing to work weekends and holidays as needed.

Pay

The pay package is based on 8-hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation), with a tax-free stipend to be determined.
