Travel Interventional Radiology Technician - $3,456 per week
About the role
Access Healthcare is seeking a travel Interventional Radiology Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures under the supervision of an interventional radiologist.
- Assist in the preparation of patients for procedures, including positioning and monitoring vital signs.
- Operate equipment and perform imaging techniques as required during procedures.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the procedure.
- Document procedures accurately and maintain medical records.
Requirements
- BLS certification
- ARRT certification
- WI Radiographer License
- Experience with EPIC
- Prior experience in Interventional Radiology, particularly Neuro and Electrophysiology (EP) IR
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including 10-hour days, 4-9 hour shifts, and potential weekend call responsibilities.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an accredited radiologic technology program
- Current BLS certification
- ARRT certification
- WI Radiographer License

Benefits
Pay package is based on 10 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.

Schedule
- Shifts: 0700-1700, 4-9hr shifts
- Call: based on department needs, currently at: 7 days on call, M-Sun, then 7 days off call, Call hours - M-F = 14.5 hours, Sa - Sun = 24 hours, Weekends: on call EOW with current needs; Holidays: Call as needed - at least one holiday if it falls within contract
