Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate and professional nursing care to patients in the interventional radiology department.
- Assist during neuro IR procedures and interventions, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
- Monitor patient condition before, during, and after procedures, documenting accurately in Epic.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate patient care and emergency responses.
- Follow facility protocols including radiation safety and on-call procedures.
Requirements
- BLS certification
- ACLS certification
- NIHSS certification
- 1-2 years of experience
- Interventional radiology or cath lab experience highly preferred
- Neuro experience, critical care experience
- Radiation badge must be provided by agency (MUSC does not provide radiation badges to travelers)
- Ability to work within a 60‑mile radius
- On‑call includes every 5th weekend and one night per week
- Will work 4×10‑hour shifts

Pay
Pay range: $2,297.07 – $2,411.92 per week (based on 10‑hour shifts, 40 hours per week; tax‑free stipend amount to be determined).
Schedule
Shift: 07:00 – 17:00 (10‑hour shifts), 4×10‑hour shifts per week. On‑call required every 5th weekend and one night per week. Contract length: 13 weeks.
