About the role
This position involves providing comprehensive nursing care to patients undergoing interventional radiology procedures. The role requires assessment, planning, and evaluation of patient needs in a fast-paced clinical environment, ensuring high-quality care aligned with organizational standards and professional nursing practice.
The nurse is accountable for the quality of nursing services delivered and collaborates with the multidisciplinary team to develop and revise care plans. The role involves direct patient care related to interventional radiology procedures, including assessment, care planning, and documentation. The position may also involve supervising licensed and non-licensed personnel and contributing to clinical research or quality improvement activities.
Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document nursing care for patients according to organizational policies and professional standards.
- Utilize specialized knowledge, judgment, and skills to provide high-quality care in interventional radiology.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to develop and revise patient care plans.
- Supervise licensed and non-licensed personnel as needed.
- Contribute to clinical research or quality improvement activities.
Requirements
- Valid RN license in the state of practice (or a valid compact RN licensure).
- BLS certification.
- Experience in an acute care hospital or relevant clinical setting is preferred.
Schedule
- Day shift, 8-hour shifts.
- Minimum of 40 hours per week.
