Travel Interventional Radiology - $2,987 per week

About the role

The position involves performing vascular and neuroradiology angiographic and interventional procedures using advanced radiographic equipment. The ideal candidate must have at least 2 years of experience as an Interventional Radiographer.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Develop and maintain skills in various clinical systems including McKesson RIS, Physician Portal, PCM, PMM, Kronos, PACS, PHS, and Teletrak.
• Maintain equipment performance to specifications.
• Aid in maintaining adequate levels of supplies for patient care.
• Ensure relevant exam information is captured during the exam.
• Assist radiologists in performing exams while providing clinical excellence.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Interventional Radiographer.
• Independent decision-making skills.
• Strong understanding of patient safety and precautions.
• Excellent communication skills with staff, physicians, patients, and families.
• Ability to relate positively to residents and families and work cooperatively with other employees.
• Regular attendance and meeting local health regulations.
• Pass a post-offer health assessment.
• Physical and sensory requirements: walking, reaching, climbing, bending, lifting, grasping, fine hand coordination, pushing and pulling, hearing, reading, writing, communicating verbally and in writing, remaining calm under stress, distinguishing smells, tastes, and temperatures.

Qualifications

Must meet local health regulations and successfully complete a post-offer health assessment. Physical and sensory requirements include walking, reaching, climbing, bending, lifting, grasping, fine hand coordination, pushing and pulling, ability to hear and respond to pages, ability to read and write, ability to communicate both verbally and in writing with residents, families, personnel, vendors, and consultants, ability to remain calm under stress, ability to distinguish smells, tastes, and temperatures.

Pay
