Job Summary

The organization is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) specializing in inpatient care in Baltimore, Maryland. The role involves providing specialized speech therapy services to adult patients, with a focus on traumatic brain injury (TBI), cerebrovascular accident (CVA), and other neurological conditions. This full-time position begins on August 10, 2026, and offers continuous clinical engagement over an eight-week contract.

Experience Requirements

• 0 years minimum required, open to first-time travelers but preference for candidates with strong skill sets in TBI and CVA care

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with acute care environments, community hospital settings, and skills related to neurogenic communication disorders

Additional Information

• Candidate must be comfortable working with adult and geriatric patient populations, performing bedside swallow evaluations, and utilizing augmentative and alternative communication devices.
• Candidate should be prepared to support patients with CVA, TBI, dysphagia, aphasia, and other neurodegenerative disorders.
• The role may involve participating in interdisciplinary teams, documentation, and adherence to facility protocols.

Pay Package

The pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
