Travel Inpatient Rehabilitation Physical Therapist - $2,039 per week

About the role

TNAA TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a 13-week position in Wichita, Kansas. The role involves overseeing supervising PTAs, billing, evaluating patients, creating and modifying treatment plans, and providing documentation.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and develop a plan of care for various patient populations in an acute care setting
• Oversee supervising PTAs and support staff
• Bill within the respective setting, following guidelines within settings for facility
• Interface with Medical Center personnel and physicians to ensure a team-focused plan of care
• Evaluate and create a plan of care
• Modify plan of care as indicated based on patient's condition
• Provide timely and accurate documentation following state and/or insurance guidelines

Requirements

• 6 months of experience; new grads are encouraged to apply
• BLS certification
• State-specific licensing
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time, bend, lean, or stoop without difficulty
• Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology

Qualifications

• BLS
• 2 years of experience

Skills

Knowledge of adaptive equipment and medical terminology.

Benefits

Pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
