Travel Inpatient Rehab Physical Therapist - $2,039 per week

About the role

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist (PT) with inpatient rehab experience for a 12-week travel contract at an acute inpatient rehabilitation hospital in Nashville, TN.

Responsibilities

• Provides individualized, intensive rehabilitation across a variety of diagnoses including stroke, neuro, cardiac, debility, and orthopedic conditions
• Treatment of patients with adult and geriatric populations recovering from stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, cardiac conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injury
• Works in a 40-bed acute inpatient rehabilitation hospital setting
• Works 10-hour shifts, Monday through Friday with 1-2 weekend shifts per month
• No call or float requirements

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of PT experience required
• Inpatient rehab or hospital experience required
• Experience working with adult and geriatric populations required
• Current PT license required (license required if applicable)
• Current AHA BLS certification required
• Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration

Qualifications

• Navy blue scrubs required
• Candidates must live more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
• Candidates who have worked permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible
• Candidates cannot be employed elsewhere full time

Pay

Pay package is based on 10 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
