About the role
Physical Therapist Inpatient (PT IP) position involves evaluating, planning, and supervising Physical Therapy treatments in accordance with physician referrals, organizational standards, and regulatory guidelines. Responsibilities
- Clinical evaluation and treatment planning
- Implementation of Physical Therapy services
- Collaboration with patients and interdisciplinary teams to establish and achieve individualized treatment goals
- Documentation and communication of patient progress
- Supervision of personnel
- Participation in department activities to support quality improvement initiatives
- Float rotation may be required
Requirements
- Graduation from an American Physical Therapy Association-accredited school or equivalent
- Current Physical Therapy license within the state of practice
- BLS certification
- Ability to become proficient with relevant computer software and patient care equipment
Schedule
- Days shift
- 8 hours per day
- Minimum of 40 hours per week
