Travel Inpatient Physical Therapist - $2,170 per week

About the role

The Physical Therapist Inpatient (Rehab Therapy) position supports patient rehabilitation in an inpatient setting, focusing on stroke evaluation and treatment. Responsibilities include performing stroke evaluations and treatments, delivering manual therapy, providing therapeutic exercises, and supporting patient self-care and functional electrical stimulation activities.

Responsibilities

• Perform stroke evaluation and treatment
• Deliver manual therapy for neurorehabilitation
• Provide therapeutic exercise, functional activity, and neuromuscular reeducation
• Support self-care and functional electrical stimulation activities
• Follow patient experience standards using AIDET communication and immediate service recovery

Requirements

• Physical Therapist Inpatient experience in a hospital setting (minimum 2 years required)
• Licence required (to be brought on the first day)

Qualifications

• Hospital and inpatient rehab experience
• Experience with stroke evaluation and treatment

Skills

• Strong hospital-based experience
• Ability to collaborate within a multidisciplinary rehabilitation team

Pay

The pay package is based on 10 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.

Schedule

Days; Monday through Friday with 8-hour shifts between 7:00 AM and 5:00 PM, plus weekend rotation; 10 shift hours; minimum 40.0 hours per week
