About the role

HCS 24/7 is looking for a travel Occupational Therapist in Hutchinson, Kansas.

Responsibilities

  • Provide occupational therapy services to patients in a hospital setting.
  • Assess patient needs and develop treatment plans.
  • Implement therapeutic interventions to improve patient function and quality of life.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Document patient progress and communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare providers.

Requirements

  • Current state license as an Occupational Therapist.
  • At least 1 year of relevant work experience.
  • No new graduates.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Occupational Therapy.
  • Passing score on the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT).

Skills

  • Strong clinical skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in using medical software and documentation systems.

Pay

The pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.

Schedule

This will be a 13-week assignment, 8A-4P shift starting July 1, 2026, working 40 hours per week. This will be a Local/Travel Contract and will offer the most competitive rates in the industry.
