About the role
The Occupational Therapist will evaluate and treat hospitalized patients to support them in regaining the physical and cognitive skills necessary for daily living and a safe discharge from the hospital.
Schedule
This position offers an 8-hour day shift, Monday through Friday. Shift start times can be as early as 7 AM and can end as late as 5:30 PM.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients' physical and cognitive abilities.
- Design and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Provide interventions that assist patients in achieving daily living skills.
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Document patient progress and treatment outcomes.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Inpatient Rehabilitation and Acute Care Occupational Therapy.
- Valid Occupational Therapy license in the state of Michigan.
