Travel IMCU Registered Nurse - $2,205 per week

About the role

This position involves providing specialized nursing care to acutely ill adult patients in a fast-paced, academic medical setting. The traveler will be responsible for managing complex clinical situations, including vent and transplant cases, within a Level I Trauma Center environment.

Schedule

• Night shifts, 12-hour shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
• Monday through Friday with every other weekend and some holidays required

Required qualifications

• WI RN or compact RN license
• 2 years of recent acute care experience within the last 3 years in the specialty, including vent and transplant experience
• BLS & ACLS (American Heart Association) certifications

Preferred qualifications

• Telemetry and oncology experience preferred
• Experience with adult patient populations, including post-transplant and ventilated patients

Additional information

• Float rotation may be required
• The candidate must pass a telemetry test prior to being cleared to start
• The unit is a 29-bed adult unit providing comprehensive care, including specialty populations such as patients with Cystic Fibrosis and pulmonary hypertension
• The position involves working in a collaborative environment with interdisciplinary support
