Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the orthopedic and general surgery units.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, documenting progress and changes in status.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medications, and post-operative care.

Requirements

• Current RN license in the state of North Carolina.
• Experience in a hospital setting, particularly in orthopedics or surgical units, is preferred.
• BLS certification is required; ACLS may be required depending on unit.

Pay

Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
