About the Role

Delivers care to patients utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention, implementation, and evaluation in coordination with other health team members. Effectively interacts with the patient, significant others, and other health team members while maintaining high standards of professional nursing. Provides high quality care to the following patient populations: Adult cardiac/telemetry, Stroke, Vascular intervention, Hemodynamic monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient care using the nursing process (assessment, planning, intervention, implementation, evaluation)
• Coordinate care with other health team members
• Interact effectively with patients, significant others, and health team members
• Maintain high standards of professional nursing
• Provide care to adult cardiac/telemetry, stroke, and vascular intervention patients
• Perform hemodynamic monitoring

Required Qualifications

• Registered Nurse license (Compact accepted; copy needed)
• 1 year 6 months ICU experience
• ACLS certification
• BLS certification
• NIH Stroke Scale certification
• Cerner EMR experience
• 2 professional references (1 must be from a supervisor)
• SSN and DOB on-file required
• Driver's license copy on-file required
