About the role
Junxion Med Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Saint Louis, Missouri.
Responsibilities
- Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias
- Multi-system organ failure management
- IV insulin protocols
- Arterial line management
- Blood Product Administration
- Central line care/management
- PICC line management
- Starting IVs
- Continuous IV sedation and Procedural Sedation Administration
- Titrate Cardiac drips
- Titrate Vasoactive drips
- BiPAP management
- Care of Ventilated Patient
- High Flow Nasal Cannula usage
- Interpretation of ABGs (Arterial Blood Gases)
- Suctioning (ETT, NT)
- Ventilator Management
- Infection Prevention
- Isolation Precautions/Use of PPE
- Phlebotomy
- Management of Surgical Wounds with drains/Wound Vac
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of ICU experience
- EPIC charting system experience (required)
- BCLS (Basic Cardiac Life Support)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- Relias EKG exam passing required (Interpretation/Management of Dysrhythmias)
- Travelers must have facial hair that allows for proper fit testing or be expected to shave
Qualifications
- BSN (Bachelor of Science in Nursing) preferred
- Teaching Hospital Experience preferred
- Travel Experience acceptable for first-time travelers
- Pending License accepted
- For Missouri (MO) submissions without a license are okay; requires MO or compact
- For Illinois (IL), license in hand is required at the time of submittal

- Shift: 12 hours, nights
- Total Weekly Hours: 36
