Travel ICU RN - $2,124 per week
About the Role
ARMStaffing is seeking a travel nurse RN for the ICU - Intensive Care Unit in Towson, Maryland. This is a 13-week contract position with 36 hours per week, primarily on day shifts with rotating nights based on departmental needs.
Responsibilities
- Administer medications and monitor vital signs
- Manage ventilators, IV drips, and other life-supporting systems
- Provide direct patient care and coordinate with interdisciplinary teams
- Document patient care activities accurately in the electronic health record system
- Float to other units as needed and participate in emergency response protocols
Requirements
- Active RN license in the state of Maryland or Compact License
- Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, CPI, and NIHSS
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an ICU setting
- Familiarity with Epic charting system preferred
- Charge nurse experience is a plus
Patient Population
The ICU services a variety of patient age groups, including adolescents (ages 15-17 if adult-like), adults, and geriatrics with conditions such as sepsis, ARDS, post-operative recovery, and cardiac complications.
