Give us a call opt 1 Job Details: Shift: 12H DaysTotal Weekly Hours: 36Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSSTrauma Level: Facility Specific Job Notes:**Required Experience and Skills:** - Minimum of 18 months of permanent Med/Surg Telemetry experience. - 18 months combined perm experience in the specialty applying for is required, preferably within one location but not required. **Licensure and Certifications:** - Must have a permanent Ohio license or a compact license in hand at the time of submission. - AHA BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications are required. - NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale) certification is required. - Required certifications need to be active and in hand at the time of submission; pending certifications will not be accepted. **Submission Requirements:** - One reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty applying for is required to qualify for submission. References must be from assignments worked in the past 12 months. **Compliance Notes:** - BG (Background) hits of any kind are reviewed by the facility, but any traveler with an open case will not be accepted. - The facility does not accept any license hits. - Nurses and CSTs are exempt from Nicotine Free Facility Requirements temporarily; other travelers must be nicotine-free. - BCI/FBI prints are time-sensitive and must be completed within 48 hours of signing the contract. **Assessments and Modules:** - PBDS Assessment is waived, but ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate must be completed during orientation. An acceptable score is required on both assessments, with a maximum of two attempts allowed. - Modules are completed pre-start and annually, time needed varies by specialty, and average 6-15 hours.
