Travel ICU RN - $1,741 per week

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel RN for an ICU/CCU assignment in Fredericksburg, Texas. The position involves caring for adult patients with life‑threatening conditions, providing complex assessments, high‑intensity therapies, and supporting patients’ families.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care, education, and support to families.
• Ensure proper functioning of life‑support equipment such as ventilators and feeding tubes.
• Monitor heart rate, blood pressure, and respiration for signs of distress.
• Administer medications, IVs, and insert catheters as needed.
• Document medication administration meticulously.
• Assist in emergency nursing procedures to promptly control changes in the patient’s condition.
• Perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation accurately and effectively.

Requirements

• Active RN license.
• Degree from an accredited nursing program.
• BLS & ACLS certification.
• At least 18 months of recent experience in an acute‑care ICU setting.
• Additional requirements may be determined by the client facility.

Pay

Weekly payment estimates are provided for informational purposes and include a gross estimate of hourly wages plus reimbursements for meals, incidentals, and housing. The pay package is based on 12‑hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
