Travel ICU Registered Nurse - $2,185 per week

About the role

ICU Registered Nurse (RN) Intensive Care Unit in Saint Albans, VT. This position involves providing specialized critical care to patients in a PCU setting, with a focus on step‑down patients. The role requires managing vented patients, basic cardiac and insulin drips, and responding effectively to emergency events.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for step‑down patients in a PCU/ICU setting.
• Manage vented patients with respiratory therapy support.
• Administer and monitor basic cardiac drips and insulin drips.
• Follow protocols for DKA patients.
• Respond to Rapid Response and Code Blue events.
• Assist newer staff in interpreting telemetry rhythm strips.

Requirements

• Current VT RN license or multistate compact license.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification.
• NIHSS (National Institute of Health Stroke Scale) certification.
• Minimum 2 years of critical care experience; 3‑4 years preferred.

Schedule

Nights shift, 12‑hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week. Assignment runs from 10/19/2026 through 01/17/2027.
