Travel ICU Registered Nurse - $2,185 per week

About the role

Critical Care Nurse, Intensive Care Unit, Las Vegas. Located at a busy hospital in Las Vegas, this role involves providing advanced patient care in a 36-bed ICU setting. The position requires managing ventilated patients and performing complex procedures, with a focus on high-acuity care in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage ventilated patients and perform complex procedures
• Administer IV medications including Levophed, Epinephrine, Insulin, Neo synephrine, Dopamine, Dobutamine, Propofol, Precedex, fentanyl, versed, Amiodarone, Lidocaine, and paralytics
• Perform intubations, chest tube insertion, bronchoscopy, EGD, colonoscopy, wound debridement, and line insertion
• Float to other ICU and IMC units as needed

Requirements

• Experience with ventilators, high-flow oxygen, Bipap, Cpap
• IV medication administration
• ACLS and BLS certifications
• 2 years of ICU level experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with TTM, hemodynamics, PA catheter
• Performing advanced procedures in the ICU setting

Work environment

• Unit equipped with ventilators, Artic Sun, Rapid infusers, CRRT machines, IV med pumps, SCD machines, cooling blankets, and glucometers

Schedule

• Days and nights shifts, 12 hours per shift
• Minimum 36 hours per week
• Four weekend shifts every four weeks

Certifications Required

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
