Travel ICU Registered Nurse - $2,160 per week

About the role

Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse (RN) Location: Grand Rapids. This role involves providing specialized patient care within the ICU setting, following established care plans and collaborating with interdisciplinary team members. Candidates will be responsible for assessing patients, initiating discharge planning, and ensuring patient safety and quality outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients.
• Initiate discharge planning.
• Ensure patient safety and quality outcomes.
• Perform nursing assessment within 8 hours of patient admission.
• Collaborate with the care team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Document all assessments and interventions in accordance with policy.
• Provide patient education, discharge planning, and effective communication to support continuity of care.
• Provide supervision and delegation to ancillary staff.
• Contribute to team building and identify opportunities for professional growth.
• Assume charge responsibility following orientation as requested.

Requirements

• BLS Certification required prior to first shift.
• ACLS required prior to first shift (if CIRH only).
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of two (2) years bedside clinical experience preferred.
• Must be available to work at the specified healthcare location in Grand Rapids.

Pay

Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.

Days shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
