Travel ICU Registered Nurse - $2,120 per week

Cross Country Nurses seeks a travel nurse RN for an ICU - Intensive Care Unit assignment in Saint Albans, Vermont. The role involves providing specialized critical care to step‑down patients, including ventilator management, cardiac and insulin drips, tele rhythm interpretation, and responding to Rapid Response and Code Blue events.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized critical care to ICU/step‑down patients
• Manage ventilated patients
• Administer and manage cardiac and insulin drips
• Respond to Rapid Response and Code Blue events
• Assist with tele rhythm interpretation
• Manage basic cardiac and DKA protocols
• Maintain proficiency with ventilator management and emergency responses

Requirements

• VT RN license or multistate compact license
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
• NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale) certification
• 3‑4 years of critical care experience preferred
• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience required

Pay

Pay package is based on 12‑hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.

Schedule

Days shift from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, with a minimum of 36 hours per week (12‑hour shifts).
