Job Summary
Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse (RN) position in a healthcare facility. This role involves providing critical care to patients with complex medical needs, including those requiring ventilator management, dysrhythmia interpretation, and advanced hemodynamic monitoring. The position requires working night shifts on a 12-hour schedule, with a minimum commitment of 36 hours per week.

Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
- 0 years of experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with IABP (Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump)
- Prismaflex CRRT (Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy)
- Strong EKG reading skills
- Ventilator troubleshooting and weaning
- Extensive critical care experience across multiple ICU areas
Additional Information
- Float rotation may be required across ICU and PCU units, including EC ICU or other areas as needed
- Nurses should be able to interpret ABGs and titrate all critical care drips such as pressors, sedatives, antiarrhythmics, and anticoagulants
- The unit maintains a 24/7 intensivist presence with NP (Nurse Practitioner) support and RT (Respiratory Therapy) coverage
- Telemetry monitors are in use, and nurses are expected to manage their own monitor strips
- Orientation includes general hospital training plus unit-specific preceptorship
