About the role
Host Healthcare is seeking a travel nurse RN Hospice Palliative Care RN for a 13-week assignment starting immediately in Missoula, Montana.
Responsibilities
- Provide hospice palliative care services to patients and families
- Develop and implement comprehensive care plans
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Document patient progress and communicate with family members and other healthcare providers
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN)
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Montana
- Current BLS certification
- Experience in hospice/palliative care preferred
Qualifications
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong clinical judgment and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Skills
- Knowledge of hospice and palliative care principles and practices
- Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems
