About the role
Pride Health is hiring a Physical Therapist Assistant to support our client's healthcare facility in Waynesville, NC.
Responsibilities
- Provide skilled physical therapy interventions in patients' homes.
- Follow treatment plans established by the supervising Physical Therapist.
- Assist patients with exercises, mobility, transfers, balance, and functional activities.
- Monitor patient progress and communicate changes to the supervising PT.
- Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation.
- Maintain patient safety and follow home health policies and procedures.
- Meet the 30-point weekly productivity expectation.
Requirements
- Education: GED and High School
- License(s): Active North Carolina PTA License – Required
- Certification(s): PTA
- Years of experience: 2 years
- Skills/Specialties/Technology: Home Health experience – Required
