About the role
Responsible for evaluating, developing, and implementing plans of care for diverse patient populations in the acute care setting.
Responsibilities
- Supervise PTAs and support staff
- Perform billing and documentation following facility, state, and insurance guidelines
- Collaborate with medical personnel to ensure coordinated care
- Assess patient needs, modify treatment plans as necessary, and understand adaptive equipment
- Utilize medical systems for daily operations
Qualifications & Skills
- Minimum 6 months of experience; new grads encouraged to apply
- Must hold BLS certification and state-specific license
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lean for extended periods
Additional Requirements
- Ensure compliance with PT board regulations; may require additional certifications before starting.
