About the role

Travel Physical Therapist (PT) responsible for evaluating, developing, and implementing care plans for diverse patient populations in an acute care setting.

Responsibilities

• Supervise PTAs and support staff
• Bill and document within facility and insurance guidelines
• Ensure compliance with state PT board rules and regulations
• Collaborate with medical personnel and physicians to coordinate care
• Assess and modify treatment plans based on patient progress
• Understand and utilize adaptive equipment
• Use medical computer systems for daily tasks

Qualifications & Skills

• Minimum of 6 months of experience (new grads encouraged to apply)
• Valid state-specific license and BLS certification
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lean for long periods
• Certifications beyond BLS may be required
