Travel Home Health Physical Therapist - $2,300 per week

About the role

The client in Wheeling, West Virginia is seeking a Physical Therapist to join their team for a 13-week contract starting as soon as possible. The position requires 40 hours per week, 8-hour shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional patient care
• Adhere to established treatment protocols and guidelines
• Document patient progress and outcomes accurately
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement treatment plans
• Conduct initial and follow-up assessments of patients
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Perform therapeutic exercises and treatments
• Evaluate patient responses to treatment and make necessary adjustments
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare providers
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and policies

Requirements

• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in West Virginia
• At least one year of relevant clinical experience
• Passing scores on the National Physical Therapy Examination (NPTE)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
• Current CPR certification
• Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy
• Experience with various physical therapy modalities

Pay

The pay package is based on 8-hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation), with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined. The estimated weekly payment includes hourly wages, meal and incidental expenses, and housing expenses incurred on behalf of the company. Additional benefits such as medical, dental, and vision insurance are in addition to the weekly pay.

Schedule

Shifts are typically 8 hours per day, Monday through Friday.
