Travel Home Health Physical Therapist - $2,300 per week

About the role

CoreMedical Group is seeking a travel Home Health Physical Therapist for a 13-week assignment starting July 10, 2026, in Garden City, New York.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional patient care in a Home Health setting
• Work 40 hours per week, 8-hour shifts
• Assist clients in improving their physical function and mobility
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement treatment plans
• Document patient progress and communicate with referring physicians

Requirements

• Current license to practice as a Physical Therapist in New York State
• At least one year of recent relevant experience in Home Health or related field
• Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
• Passing score on the National Physical Therapy Examination (NPTE)

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong clinical judgment and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in using electronic medical records systems

• Knowledge of Home Health protocols and standards of care
• Experience with manual therapy techniques and exercise prescription

Pay

The pay package is based on 8-hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation), with tax-free stipend amount to be determined. The estimated weekly payment includes hourly wages, meal & incidental expenses, and housing expenses incurred on behalf of the Company. Any benefits (medical/dental/vision) are in addition to the weekly pay.
