About the role
Travel Physical Therapist responsible for evaluating, developing, and implementing patient care plans in an acute care setting.
Responsibilities
- Supervise PTAs and support staff
- Bill within facility guidelines
- Ensure compliance with state PT regulations
- Collaborate with medical personnel to create and modify care plans
- Evaluate patients
- Understand adaptive equipment
- Document accurately using medical systems
Qualifications & Skills
- Minimum of 6 months of experience (new grads encouraged)
- Valid state licensing
- BLS certification
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lean for extended periods
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology
Schedule
Day shifts, 40 hours per week, with a focus on team collaboration and patient-centered care. Certifications may be required prior to assignment.
