Travel Histologist - $2,715 per week

The Histologist position is located in Louisville, Kentucky. This role involves working within a laboratory environment with a focus on pathology and histotechnologist duties. The selected candidate will support a close-knit, teamwork-driven department, conducting laboratory and histology work with occasional floating to other nearby facilities.

Responsibilities

• Support a close-knit, teamwork-driven department in a laboratory setting.
• Conduct laboratory and histology work, with occasional floating to nearby facilities (approximately 2 blocks away to a university).
• Report to a manager overseeing a team of 15 members, including 12 pathologists and 12‑16 residents (1st to 4th year).
• Use Cerner laboratory information system, Paige, Roche, LEICA equipment, digital pathology technology, and lab‑specific machinery.
• Participate in a 4‑hour laboratory orientation every other Wednesday in NEO.
• Adhere to business‑casual scrub color; free parking with badge access.
• Contribute to a unit culture emphasizing teamwork and close collaboration.

Requirements

3 years of leadership experience; active ASCP, MT or equivalent certification.

Qualifications

• 5 years of related experience preferred.
• Histotechnologist designation preferred.
• Familiarity with CLIA regulations.
