About the role

Histologist in the Histology Laboratory, processing approximately 1,200 blocks per day. The role focuses on high-quality specimen preparation and analysis.

Responsibilities

• Process approximately 1,200 blocks per day in the Histology Laboratory
• Perform high-quality specimen preparation and analysis
• Adhere to laboratory protocols and quality standards

Qualifications

• Certification: HT (ASCP) or HTL (ASCP)
• Minimum 2 years of relevant histology experience
• Prior travel experience preferred
• Must be available for orientation on 11/9, 11/16, and 11/30 only (no orientation during the week of 11/23)
• Availability to work 2 of 3 holidays
• All time off must be pre-submitted; no excessive time off allowed
• Must wear any color scrubs
• No float rotation required

Schedule

• Evening shifts: 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM, weekdays
• 8 hours per shift, 40 hours per week minimum
• Assignment dates: 11/30/2026 – 02/27/2027

Pay

Pay package based on 8-hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
