Travel General Ultrasound Technologist - $2,551 per week

• Total Weekly Hours: 40

Certification Requirements

• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• RDMS-AB (Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer - Abdomen)
• ARDMS OB/GYN*
• RDCS - RVT* (Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer - Registered Vascular Technologist)

Skillset Requirements

• Familiarity with a wide range of procedures and body areas including 1st, 2nd, and 3rd trimester ultrasounds, among others
• Proficiency with equipment from Philips and Siemens
• Proficiency with Cerner (preferred charting system)
• Experience with liver biopsies, neck/thyroid fine needle aspirations, and venous dopplers (arms & legs)

Other Requirements

• Traveler's university must be accredited by the ACEN or CCNE at time of graduation
• SSN and DOB required at time of submittal
• 2 supervisor references required
• Licence must be in hand prior to start date; temporary licenses may be obtainable
• Floating within hospital or to an affiliate hospital is required for all travelers
