American Traveler is seeking a travel Ultrasound Technologist / Sonographer for a general sonography position requiring ARDMS certification and at least 1 year of experience, with broad scanning capabilities across OB, vascular, and general abdominal imaging.

- Busy hospital-based ultrasound department staffed Mon–Thu 24/7 and Fri–Sun with 12-hour day shift techs
- Specialty focus includes OB, breast, vascular, general abdomen, GYN, and DVT studies
- Preferred patient populations include neonates, infants, and pediatrics in addition to adult patients
- Samsung ultrasound equipment preferred
- PACS system in use
- 3x12-hour day shifts, 7:30 AM–8:00 PM, Wednesday through Friday
Requirements
- Candidates must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
- Minimum of 1 year of ultrasound technologist experience
- Current ARDMS certification required (AB, OB, and VASC registries)
- Current BLS required
- Must be able to scan independently in a fast-paced environment
- Required scanning competencies include OB (all trimesters), breast, vascular/DVT, and general abdomen
- Proficiency with a broad range of studies including fetal anatomical survey, carotid, Doppler, lower and upper extremity venous, peripheral vascular, GYN, renal/bladder, thyroid, superficial masses, testicles/scrotum, and abdominal organs (liver, gallbladder, pancreas, spleen, appendix)
- Experience with ED portables required
- Licenses required if applicable

Pay
Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
