About the role
Host Healthcare is seeking a travel nurse RN Stepdown Med Surg for a 13-week assignment starting August 24, 2026, in Hilo, Hawaii.
Responsibilities
- Assist patients recovering from surgery or acute illnesses
- Monitor patient health status and administer medications as needed
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans
- Document patient care activities and progress in medical records
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN)
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Hawaii
- Experience in step-down med-surg units preferred
- Knowledge of step-down med-surg protocols and procedures
Qualifications
- Passing scores on the NCLEX-RN exam
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Pay
