About the Role
Provide urgent, high-quality patient care in a fast-paced emergency setting.
Responsibilities
- Assess, triage, and monitor patients
- Administer medications and treatments
- Assist physicians during emergency procedures
- Document patient care accurately and thoroughly
- Educate patients and families on care plans and follow-up
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure coordinated care
- Ensure safety and infection control protocols are followed
- Respond to critical situations according to established protocols
Key Duties
- Perform rapid patient assessments
- Explain emergency procedures to patients and families
- Prepare and operate emergency medical equipment
- Monitor and record vital signs
- Maintain detailed patient documentation
- Provide patient education on care and discharge instructions
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to deliver efficient, patient-centered emergency care
Qualifications & Skills
- At least one year of recent Emergency Room (ER) experience
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS/ENPC certifications
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Physical ability to perform necessary tasks (e.g., lifting, standing for long periods)
- Proficiency in technical, motor, and sensory skills required for emergency care
- Ability to work under pressure and adapt to irregular schedules
