About the Role
Provide high-quality, rapid-response patient care in a fast-paced emergency department setting.
Responsibilities
- Assess and triage patients
- Explain procedures to patients and families
- Administer treatments and medications
- Prepare and manage emergency equipment
- Monitor patient safety and condition
- Document care accurately and thoroughly
- Initiate patient education
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure efficient, patient-centered care
- Execute emergency procedures as needed
- Adhere to safety and regulatory standards
Requirements
- Minimum of one year of recent ER experience
- Valid RN license
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
Preferred Qualifications
- TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)
- NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale)
- CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention)
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
- SANE (Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner)
Skills
