About the Role
Provide high-quality, rapid-response care in a fast-paced emergency department setting.
Responsibilities
- Assess and triage patients
- Explain procedures to patients and families
- Administer treatments and medications
- Monitor patient safety and vital signs
- Document care and maintain accurate records
- Collaborate with healthcare teams, including physicians and support staff
- Respond to life-threatening situations following established protocols
- Prioritize patient care based on acuity and urgency
- Assist physicians during examinations and procedures
- Manage emergencies, including trauma and critical care scenarios
- Educate patients and families on care plans and follow-up
- Adhere to safety and regulatory standards
Requirements & Qualifications
- One year of recent ER experience as a Registered Nurse
- Valid RN license
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) or ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course) certification
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Proficiency in technical and clinical skills
- Physical ability to perform job duties, including lifting and moving patients
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced, high-stress environment
- Ability to work effectively in diverse team settings
