About the role
We are seeking an experienced ER Registered Nurse to provide high-quality nursing care in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate must be capable of managing patient care during emergencies, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, and ensuring adherence to protocols and best practices.
Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in the Emergency Room.
- Provide emergency care to patients experiencing various medical conditions.
- Monitor vital signs and manage critical care situations.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals in treatment planning.
- Educate patients and families on health management and disease prevention.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of ER nursing experience required.
- Current certifications: ACLS, PALS, BLS, NIHSS, TNCC.
- Active RN license in the state required.
- Experience with Epic charting system is required.
- Trauma Level I or II experience preferred.
Schedule
- Night shift: 3x12 Hour schedule (19:00 - 07:00).
- Weekends required: 6 weekends per 6 weeks.
