MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN for an Emergency Department assignment in Rockingham, North Carolina. Start date: October 12, 2026. Duration: 13 weeks. Schedule: 36 hours per week, 12‑hour evening shifts. Employment type: Travel.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for patients with various illnesses or trauma requiring emergency attention.
• Recognize and effectively treat life‑threatening conditions.
• Assess, intervene, and stabilize a variety of trauma and illnesses with decisive action.
• Apply knowledge of general and specific health issues to urgent medical conditions.
• Understand and implement triage to prioritize injuries based on medical need.
• Make quick and accurate assessments of incoming patients, including physical and mental health conditions.

Requirements

• Active RN license.
• Degree from an accredited nursing program.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS & TNCC may be required depending on the position.
• Minimum eighteen months of recent experience in an acute care Emergency Room setting.
• Additional requirements may be specified by the client facility.
